Cross was re-released with the movie tie-in cover of
Alex Cross
(its name was changed to
Alex Cross).
I must confesss: I HAVE NEVER READ A JAMES PATTERSON NOVEL.
So, I am not super excited about it. I blame the movies
Kiss the Girls and
Along Came a Spider. I couldn't get through them.
The Silence Of The Lambs? Couldn't finish it. Not that they were bad ... at least the parts that I saw through my fingers.
Seven? Saw it. Liked it. Freaked me out.
I'm convinced that serial killer movies aren't for me. Curiously, television shows with serial killers don't bother me. Go figure.
I feel like I should read some Patterson books anyway.
Does he have a good series that doesn't involve serial killers?
UPDATE (10/3/12): Goodreads has suckered me in with
its book-movie cross-promotion. I signed up for the book giveaway and RSVP'd to the movie (showin' Tyler Perry some support). Who is gonna hold my hand? SMH.
